The fun,

& personalized

therapy you’ve

been looking for

Here at Sussannah Johnsen Speech Therapy, we strive to provide a family centered experience. Our goal is to take the stress out of another added appointment and create fun, flexible, and personalized speech-language therapy

Meet Annah Johnsen,

M.A., CCC-SLP

A woman with straight brown hair and a big smile, wearing a light blue top, standing in front of gray horizontal siding.

Annah Johnsen is a licensed speech-language pathologist with over eight years of experience. She has spent her career working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. She has a passion for not only treating pediatrics with speech-language difficulties, but has years of experience mentoring graduate students, Clinical Fellows, and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants.

She specializes in treating speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, and providing early intervention.

Annah focuses on implementing play into her therapy. Research shows that play is the best way for children to learn, but for Ms. Annah, there is so much more happening in her sessions. Every toy, every game, every question, and every pause is intentional. Effective speech therapy isn’t about keeping a child dependent on prompts, it is about knowing exactly what support to provide and, just as importantly, when to take it away.

A skilled speech-language pathologist can identify where communication breakdowns occur, meet your child where they are, and provide the right level of support to help them succeed independently.

That is the level of clinical expertise, individualized care, and intentional therapy you’ll find at Sussannah Johnsen Speech Therapy.

An Individualized Approach

At Sussannah Johnsen Speech Therapy, therapy is highly personalized and data-informed. Standardized assessments, informal assessment, and diagnostic therapy sessions are utilized to develop individualized treatment plans. With intentional progress monitoring and ongoing refinement of goals, we strive for each child to experience measurable, meaningful growth.

A Premium Therapy Experience

Appointments are 30 minutes of one-on-one, individualized therapy. In addition, appointments are scheduled with dedicated transition time so families never feel rushed. This allows opportunities to discuss progress, answer questions, provide strategies to implement at home, and prepare the therapy space before welcoming the next child. It’s one of the many ways we create a seamless, family-centered experience.
